QUESTION:

Having recently been appointed a member of the Florida Advisory Committee on Intergovernmental Relations, am I, a clerk of the circuit court, required to file an additional statement of financial disclosure with the Department of State?

In accordance with the rationale of CEO 76-153, a copy of which is enclosed, your question is answered in the negative, although we recommend that you file a copy of your original disclosure statement (CE Form 1, Part 1) with the Department of State, noting your additional position thereon.
